Job Overview
T-Mobile’s Business Development & Sponsorship team is responsible for forging and managing high-impact partnerships across sports, streaming, and entertainment. From marquee sponsorships with Major League Baseball and Formula 1 to streaming deals with Netflix, Apple TV+, and Hulu, the team drives partnerships that elevate the brand and deliver meaningful value to customers across T-Mobile’s business lines.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Streaming & Entertainment who will play a key role within this group, focused on managing and expanding our streaming and subscription-based partnerships. This individual will help shape T-Mobile’s strategy in the evolving streaming landscape, leveraging data, market research, and cross-functional collaboration to unlock new value for customers. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker and skilled researcher who thrives in a fast-paced, partner-facing environment and has a passion for entertainment, media, and the digital consumer experience.

Base Pay Range: $90,100 - $162,600
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. - This position must be located in Bellevue, WA. This is a hybrid work environment with three days in the office.
- Conduct in-depth research on the streaming and entertainment landscape, including emerging services, audience demographic trends, competitive positioning, market shifts, and consumer behavior
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, finance, legal) to assess partnership performance, prepare internal quarterly business reviews, and support and advocate for go-to-market tactics and strategies across T-Mobile’s business lines
- Track and analyze partner performance through important metrics (e.g., redemption rates, engagement, churn), partner quarterly earnings, and industry commentary to surface actionable insights for internal teams
- Build and maintain expertise using streaming-specific research sources (e.g., MoffettNathanson, Antenna, Nielsen, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional team members to assess and propose strategic partnerships that align with T-Mobile’s customerneeds across Consumer, Metro, Home Internet, T-Mobile for Business, and T-Ads.
- Ideate, pitch, and support innovative partnership models that maximise T-Mobile’s unique assets and customer reach.
- Support the negotiation and structuring of business agreements with new and existing partners.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field and/or commensurate combination of education and experience
- Work Experience:
- 4–7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, or related roles—preferably in streaming, entertainment, telecom, media, or technology industries
- Strong understanding of the media/streaming ecosystem, including AVOD/SVOD trends and key industry players
- Experience working with internal and external partners, including senior leadership and C-level executives
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft executive presentations
- Proven track record of identifying, supporting, and closing strategic partnerships
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; able to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights
- Reading, interpreting, and summarizing complex legal agreements; able to collaborate with legal and business teams to ensure alignment and compliance
- Passion for media, entertainment, and new technologies; stays current on trends and innovations
- Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
