The Opportunity

This position works out of our Temecula, CA location in the AVD division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

Management of the Divisional inventory tools and forecast projections. Assist in setting strategic direction to the sites, DCs and commercial partners that enable the Division to achieve our year end inventory commitments.

What You’ll Work On

  • Responsible for overseeing inventory levels, analyzing data to identify trends, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory control processes
  • Monitor and report on inventory accuracy and discrepancies
  • Track and meet KPIs for inventory control
  • Maintain material master data in SAP, critical to the flow of material from manufacturing to end customer delivery
  • Develops and maintains divisional inventory and reporting tools on a monthly or biweekly basis
  • Assists in the divisional inventory targets (FG/WIP/RM) that align with the LBE commitments
  • Understanding demand and supply signals and how they impact the divisional inventory projections
  • Follow up on actions and decisions needed from partners on inventory actuals and forecasts.
  • Consolidates, reviews, and approves information required for plans and updates; presents to senior management.
  • Ensures schedule commitments and financial goals are met.
  • May Demonstrate basic project management skills by acting as a project leading on small, well defined projects.
  • Problem solving: High degree of business judgment, interpersonal and communication skills with multiple functions, divisions, areas and business units is required to successfully perform this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 2-5 years of related work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area.

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
