The System Integration Engineer will be responsible for integrating and optimizing various systems and technologies within our mail-order pharmacy operations. This role focuses on the automation of processes, ensuring seamless communication between different systems, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project implementation and an eagerness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This person will work between their home office and the Chandler/Mesa Mail Order Pharmacies. Candidate must reside in the Chandler/Mesa AZ area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and project goals
  • Design, implement, and maintain system integrations that optimize workflow and enhance automation within the pharmacy
  • Oversee the deployment of automation solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and compliance standards
  • Analyze system performance and troubleshoot integration issues to ensure continuous improvement
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and integration specifications
  • Provide training and support to staff on new systems and processes
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project implementation, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
  • Solid understanding of system integration processes and automation technologies
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proven excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with writing test cases and working through the Quality Assurance process
  • Experience with requirements gathering, building of scope of work, managing change orders, and documentation for engagements
  • 7+ Years of Project Implementation Experience
  • Experience with Sourcing involving identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers or vendors
  • Strong communication skills with critical stakeholders
  • Experience in Mail Order Pharmacy
  • Experience in application integration. Understands the integration processes, manages integration projects, and troubleshooting integration issues
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to the Mesa/Chandler AZ area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with pharmacy management systems or healthcare software solutions
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the pharmacy industry
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages or automation

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
