Senior Accounting & Operations Associate

Our client, a prestigious and rapidly growing private equity firm, is seeking a Senior Accounting & Operations Associate to join their team at their Fairfield, CT office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with their direct lending funds, providing exposure to complex investments at the forefront of global private equity. Job Function

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for direct lending funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Perform NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations for funds, providing essential data to report on fund performance.
• Assist in preparing and presenting detailed fund reports for investors, covering performance analysis, portfolio updates, and financial statements.
• Manage capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting to ensure smooth and accurate operations.
• Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries related to fund performance, financial reporting, and accounting matters.
• Track and report on interest accruals, fees, and other related investment activities, ensuring precise calculations and proper documentation.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Approximately 2-6 years of experience in Big 4 or private equity fund accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (US GAAP or IFRS).
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
