What You'll Do
The QMA at Greenwood Health and Living plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents and staff within the facility. This position is responsible for implementing and overseeing safety programs that adhere to industry standards and regulations. The QMA will conduct regular site safety assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves training staff on safety protocols and ergonomics to promote a safe working environment. Ultimately, the QMA’s efforts contribute to a culture of safety that enhances the quality of care provided to residents.

Minimum Qualifications
The required skills in ergonomics and safety management are essential for identifying and mitigating risks in the workplace. Daily, the QMA will apply their knowledge of safety programs to develop training materials and conduct workshops for staff. Site safety assessments will require a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze potential hazards effectively. Strong communication skills will be utilized to convey safety protocols and ensure that all team members understand their responsibilities. Preferred skills in industrial safety will enhance the QMA’s ability to implement best practices and foster a culture of safety within the organization.
