Position Summary
Summary:
Responsible for development, execution, and maintenance of quality procedures supporting production, engineering, and supply chain operations. Through the use of analytical tools determine root cause(s) and propose solutions of product nonconformance, purchased and manufactured, and drive the implementation of solutions. Required to participate in and provide support to continuous improvement activities utilizing lean manufacturing and six sigma techniques. May have additional responsibilities as assigned based upon business conditions.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implement and maintain quality policies and programs based on most current ISO Quality Standards.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance to established policies and programs.
- As directed, review the Quality Manual, procedures, and work instructions and propose changes.
- Maintain quality records
- Gathers, analyzes, and identifies trends in warranty data to provide recommendations for further analysis or corrective actions in design or assembly processes.
- Creates and implements supplier quality policies and processes to include supplier selection, certification and performance monitoring.
- Conducts supplier audits and provides assistance as necessary to improve supplier performance.
- Maintains information in the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) database, analyzes NCR data, identifies trends, and potential corrective actions.
- Establishes formal quality verification systems and standards to assure that all products, components, and materials meet specifications.
- ISO 9001 &14001 awareness and compliance
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or 6 - 10 years related experience and/or training.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and business systems experience (SAP a plus) are required.
- CQM is preferred
