Job Description Summary
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join the Streamline Product Team. This hybrid role requires strong capabilities in both user experience and user interface design—balancing research, wireframing, and prototyping with high-quality design execution. The ideal candidate can take initiative in understanding user needs, analyzing current workflows, identifying improvements, and delivering thoughtful, scalable designs for both web and mobile environments.
As a UI/UX designer, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across Streamline and the Inhabit Vacation Division. In many cases, you will be responsible for translating research insights and design improvements into user stories or detailed project outlines for development teams. Your work will influence core product updates, mobile features, and even client-facing tools and templates.

In many cases, you will be responsible for translating research insights and design improvements into user stories or detailed project outlines for development teams. Your work will influence core product updates, mobile features, and even client-facing tools and templates.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Perform UX research through customer feedback, internal usage data, team interviews, and competitive analysis
- Analyze existing workflows and designs to propose and validate user-focused improvements
- Translate ideas and requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Create clean, scalable visual designs in Figma, including design system components
- Maintain and evolve shared design systems and collaborate with front-end developers using tools such as Storybook
- Write clear user stories or detailed design documentation to deliver projects and ideas to development and product teams
- Partner with product managers and developers throughout the design and development lifecycle to ensure high-quality execution
- Occasionally contribute to light graphic design work such as PowerPoint templates, branded exports, or marketing assets
- Design and manage client-facing templates in tools like Unlayer or similar
- Collaborate with local and remote cross-functional teams to gather feedback, align on goals, and present solutions
- Work iteratively in an agile product environment while adapting to shifting priorities and timelines
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design within digital product, SaaS, or mobile environments
- Solid understanding of the full product design lifecycle, from research through implementation
- Strong visual design skills and proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
- Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first applications
- Ability to create clear design documentation and write user stories or feature outlines
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and iteration
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and user advocacy
- Experience in the vacation rental, travel, or hospitality industries
- Familiarity with design systems and front-end implementation tools like Storybook
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or ability to communicate effectively with developers
- Graphic design experience for slide decks, swag, or digital marketing materials
- Experience creating exportable templates or customer-facing branded content
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Digital Media, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
