Job Overview

S&W Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Welding Project Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in the early phases of our foundational construction and welding projects-analyzing plans, developing accurate estimates, walking projects, and crafting compelling proposals. Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To)

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to understand job scope and complexity
• Perform job walks to evaluate field conditions and generate accurate labor and material takeoffs
• Develop detailed project estimates, covering a wide range of welding and foundational construction work
• Create thorough and persuasive writeups for bid submissions and customer proposals
• Phase out awarded projects for a smooth transition to operations and field teams
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to pursue new opportunities and support the bidding process
• Maintain organized and clear documentation for all estimates and bid activity
  
  

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial construction experience (required)
• Strong background in estimating construction/welding projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and scope documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing work
• Project management experience (preferred)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Work Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
