About the position: As the Senior Accountant, you will perform accounting tasks crucial to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Key skills required are strong analytical skills, understanding of GAAP, and strong problem solving skills.
What you'll do:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university.
Experience: 4-7 years in public or private accounting.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills required. Advanced proficiency in Excel required. Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint.

What you'll do:
- Record journal entries and bank transactions
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
- Analyze and explain variances on the departmental Monthly Analysis Package (MAP)
- Generate weekly and monthly financial reports
- Support CFO with ad hoc financial reporting
- Work with Department Leads in yearly budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist in providing information for annual financial audit
- Crosstrain and serve as backup for other members of Finance team
