We're looking for someone with deep experience in architecting data solutions in the media & entertainment landscape that can simplify how we measure and understand our customers' needs, ultimately driving better business decisions and customer experiences. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to design and build secure, cost-effective, and high-performing cloud solutions. You'll partner with teams across the company to innovate and deliver cutting-edge cloud services and platforms. And you'll collaborate with the best and brightest minds in the industry to create a private cloud offering that is scalable, reliable, and easy to use. You'll be a key leader, guiding junior engineers and project teams while setting precedents for the business and technology. Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate across application and data teams to orchestrate data solutions that meet needs from transactional, analytics, and data science needs
- Propose solutions focusing on cost optimization, reducing data hops, ensuring high availability, performance, and Effectv’s strategic needs and future growth goals as it relates to becoming a ‘data-driven’ organization
- Ensure solutions adhere to policies outlined at Comcast level, such as data privacy and security
- Design and manage robust, scalable data models and semantic layers
- Build prototypes, publish design patterns for use by the organization
- Provide guidance on getting started in cloud and cloud migration techniques
- Work with the data governance team to ensure critical data elements are identified and monitored
- Work with partners like AWS, Databricks, Snowflake to ensure services meet the growing needs of Effectv
- Facilitate in-depth architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class cloud solutions
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements
- Conduct surveys, brainstorming sessions, and analysis to understand business need/fit
- Analyze different options to make a build vs. buy decision
- Identify technology and skills gaps in solution implementations
- Guide and unblock teams working with data center and network engineering to create infrastructure deployment plans
- Promote the use of industry and Company technology standards
- Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into actionable data architecture roadmaps that enable data-driven decision making
- Mentor and lead teams of data engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Media & Entertainment industry experience in measurement and attribution preferred
- Implementing cloud data architecture and data integration patterns (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Databricks, etc.); storage and processing (Redshift, Azure Synapse, Big Query, Snowflake); 3rd Party Integration (Salesforce, D365)
- Understanding and experience with modern cloud data architectures and engineering for AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience building dimensional data models and semantic layers ensuring ease of data consumption; experience with tools like AtScale, Cube.dev preferred
- Designing and developing using data modeling techniques for mixed workloads (OLTP, OLAP, streaming using any formats)
- Leading and supporting data teams in creating cloud data migration/integration/warehouse plans, roadmap, success metrics, and assessing client’s enterprise data systems
- Experience in defining Master and Reference Data Management strategy
- Strong understanding of data governance practices
- Architecting and designing data implementation patterns using native cloud capabilities that span data ingestion & integration, data storage, data prep & processing, data virtualization, data consumption and visualization
- Implementing leading practices in supporting high availability, scalable, process and storage intensive solutions architectures for data integration/migration, analytics and insights, AI and ML requirements
- Guiding the creation of detailed documentation related to data architecture, integration, and data flows
- Familiarity with message-driven data architecture for de-coupling via asynchronous message-passing
- Certification in AWS solutions architect or Databricks is a plus
- Bachelor's in an Engineering discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience

Salary: National Pay Range: $94,320.03 USD - $221,062.56 USD. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Additionally, Comcast provides best-in-class Benefits to eligible employees.
Education: Bachelor's Degree. Comcast may consider applicants with some combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
