Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, healthcare providers, and potential clients.
- Attend local events and represent our agency.
- Educate families and caregivers about our homecare services.
- Assist with planning and coordinating marketing/outreach activities.
- Support referral programs and track referral sources.
- Conduct client intakes, manage communication, and handle administrative tasks.
- Monitor PCA (caregiver) performance and assist with supervision visits.
- Help with recruitment, interviews, and new staff onboarding.
- Keep documents organized and ensure compliance with all policies and HIPAA rules.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and well-organized office.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as healthcare administration, social work, or business) preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Previous supervisory experience in a non-medical homecare agency or a similar healthcare or social services setting.
- Strong knowledge of non-medical homecare regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team of personal care attendants.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach when working with clients and their families.
- Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, email, and electronic health record systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
