Children’s Aid will conduct a prompt and thorough investigation of all allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or any violation of the Equal Employment Opportunity Policy in a confidential manner and will take appropriate corrective action, if and where warranted. The incumbent is expected to work a schedule, whether in-person or hybrid, as determined by the department's needs to facilitate effective collaboration with the team. The position's requirements are subject to periodic review and adjustment based on organizational needs and changes in work dynamics.

- Understand and promote the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Work with a dynamic team of professionals including nurses and social workers in our foster care program for children with special medical needs.
- Provide intensive casework services and fieldwork for children and their birth and foster families with the goal of providing permanency as quickly as possible.
- With medical staff, team-train foster parents in specialized child care skills.
- Conduct intensive outreach to connect children and families with agency and community treatment resources.
- Maintain written case records.
- Work in partnership with RN assigned to cases; Collaboration includes conducting home visits whenever possible.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Foster care experience preferred;
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Excellent verbal, writing, and organizational skills;
- Flexibility, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Computer literacy;
