Forecasting Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Forecasting Analyst to join our team. As a Forecasting Analyst, you will play a critical role in the planning and forecasting of company operations to support business decision-making and strategic planning. You will be responsible for analyzing historical data, market trends, and business performance metrics to develop accurate forecasts and predictions that will drive our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data from various sources to develop accurate forecasts for sales, production, inventory levels, and other key business metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate trends in the market, industry, and company performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights that will improve the accuracy of forecasts.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models and tools to support the planning and decision-making process.
• Communicate forecast results and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior management in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a forecasting or analytics role, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g. R, Python, Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
