Senior Manager

Role Summary

Responsible for participating in the execution of management, fiscal review, and investment strategies of ONE owned terminal assets while coordinating with partner shareholders, Port Authorities, and relevant internal and external groups.

Ensures assets are meeting fiscal KPI’s, are in compliance and aligned with related company and industry regulations and policies.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to; Assets are minimizing costs, insuring optimal safety and business KPI’s are aligned with fiscal and operational goals as set by BoD, adherence to Quality and Service Management initiatives with an emphasis on equity.

Additional Responsibilities

Manages and maintains positive direction and support for short, medium, and long term needs for NA Terminal (NATM) and Global Terminal (GTM) as they relate to ONE directives and strategies.

Manages and maintains positive and collaborative relationships with Asset Sr. Management, Shareholders and suppliers.

Manages product service quality with suppliers using KPI’s, process improvement/ influence techniques, understanding of the supplier’s capability/capacity, and understanding of the company's internal workings and requirements.

Understands and has visibility on various internal/external stakeholders and suppliers that establish processes and service quality performance and measures.

Manages matters of operational efficiency and cost control in collaboration with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers.

Maintains an understanding of port and intermodal operational performance standards.

Manages and coordinates ONE owned assets, port authority, IEP’s, off terminal depots, railroads and other internal/external service suppliers, where applicable

Manages internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions related to asset related crises situations, individual cargo incidences, and challenging daily issues in order to limit negative impacts to ONE cost or customer service.

Function Specific Skills

Experience with contacts, budgets, CAPEX/Maintenance investments and financial tools. Experience with operations, compliance and safety relating to containers, terminals, vessels, and intermodal and regulatory requirements.

Applies knowledge of procedures and good judgment in daily decision-making.

Record of successfully collaborating and relationships with management and peers.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.

Highly effective use of G-Suite and/or MS Suite platforms

Required Minimum Years Experience

5+ management and 7+ function-related

Required Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
