Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process
  • Onboard new employees
  • Create training materials and opportunities for understanding HR policies
  • Administer compensation, reimbursements and benefits
  • Educate employees on HR-related topics, including leaves and compensation
  • Assist in performance management tasks
  • Collect human resources data and provide summaries and reports to management


Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or GED), but bonus points for an HR or business degree!
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or admin roles—if you know your way around HR systems, even better.
  • A people-first attitude, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A data friendly mind, with excellent Google Sheet and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Tech-savviness with all Microsoft programs, Quickbooks, Google Suite.
  • A natural knack for handling sensitive info with grace and confidentiality.
  • Previous experience in HR, not required but a plus!
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
