What You’ll Do:

  • Welcome clients and pets with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care
  • Manage phone calls, triage needs, and schedule appointments with confidence
  • Educate clients about pet health, preventative care, and hospital services
  • Support patient flow and ensure efficiency throughout the day
  • Handle client transactions, invoices, and cash drawer reconciliation
  • Respond to client concerns with empathy and effective problem-solving
  • Promote teamwork and help create a positive, collaborative practice culture
  • Dispense prescription items and retail products under veterinary guidance
  • Keep client and patient records up-to-date in our practice management software
  • Maintain a strong understanding of hospital services and offerings


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • 1-2+ years of customer service or receptionist experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in a veterinary clinic is a plus
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, Outlook, and Cornerstone (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Vetstoria, Vetsource, and Vet2Pet helpful
  • Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and willingness to learn more
  • Comfortable with basic triage and client education
  • Able to stay organized and efficient during high call volumes
  • A positive, team-first mindset and a genuine love for helping people and pets
  • Flexible availability, including weekday shifts and eventually Saturday shifts


Schedule & Availability:

  • We’re currently seeking full-time coverage.
  • Flexibility is key—we are open Monday through Friday, with Saturday availability expected in the future.


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2+ years of experience in a CSR/receptionist role in a healthcare setting
  • Veterinary experience preferred
