Become a part of our international Business Processes and IT team in The Woodlands (Houston), USA. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime as IT Support Engineer.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide Desktop support and resolve problems beyond the end user’s expectations, e.g. setup and deployment
- Assisting with the troubleshooting of mail software and corporate applications in use. For example Microsoft O365 products.
- Assisting with Adobe and AutoDesk products.
- Escalation of issues to corporate IT colleagues when needed.
- Documentation of internal procedures and operations.
- On-boarding IT assistance for new users.
- Maintaining inventory of IT equipment
- Keep track of computer warranty status
- Perform monthly check of printer/copier usage and provide same to leasing company
- Means of contact for 3rd party visits regarding voice and data line maintenance
- Work with IT consultants abroad
- Become fluent and assist employees with deugro in-house operating systems, Accounting
- Systems, Tracking Systems, and the Transport Management Systems in general.
- Provide IT related training to operations support staff
- Work constructively in a team oriented environment to ensure customer requirements are met
- Involvement in local and global IT projects
What you can contribute:
- On-site and remote hardware & software support on 1st and 2nd level
- Supports with Windows11 OS installations and configurations on desktops and laptops
- Providing forwarding application support
- Assistance in creating of the IT budget for the Americas
- Hardware & software handling, e.g. on site purchases.
- Communicating with IT vendors and contracts respectively
