The ACES Clinical Manager, Treatment Initiation (TM) is primarily responsible for utilizing evidence-based ABA assessment techniques to evaluate clients for ABA services. The ACES Treatment Initiation Manager provides the initial in-person or telehealth clinical intake meeting and sets forth ABA treatment by identifying long-term objectives of the client and their family.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Working under the supervision of the Area Director, essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides timely and accurate assessments to clients in the clinic, home, community, or on telehealth
- Utilizes evidence-based ABA assessment techniques
- Transitions clients from initial intake to their treatment team and monitor utilization of recommended hours during the first authorization period
- Assists the Vice President of Clinical Service Delivery and Assessment Coordinator with on-going trainings
- Reviews treatment overview, processes, and expectations with the family. Keep the care team updated regarding status of assessment
- Prepares and submits a final ABA assessment report using approved case-specific templates
- Stays informed of ABA assessment and evaluation techniques and tools by attending ongoing trainings
- Reviews quarterly outcome data from their region and collaborates on clinical strategy elevation
- Assists Clinical Director with supporting challenging clinical cases to influence positive outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with only general supervision
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis psychology, education, social work or other related field; and BCBA certification or clinical license
- 5+ years’ experience working with clients with ASD or other special needs
- 5+ years training and/or education related to ASD
- Valid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation
- Background check, tuberculosis test, LiveScan fingerprint and any other funding source required clearance
- Comfortable working in home, community, school, clinic, and military base environments
- Comfortable working in group settings and leading small groups of staff and clients
- Strong desire to support and develop skills and abilities of staff
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, database software, project management software
- Highly organized
- Professional, positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 25 pounds
- Direct work with clients may include, without limitation, the following physical demands: sitting, kneeling, squatting, running, twisting and turning, reaching above shoulders and/or frequent physical transitions
