We are looking for a detail-orientated Export Account Specialist. If you are looking for an exciting place to work, join our dynamic team. Essential Functions:
- Daily entry of International Orders including processing of ALE orders by review of products, pricing, Incoterms, shipping methods and payment terms.
- Coordination of any order / customer requirements with internal departments which can include the Credit, Inventory, Vault and Shipping department.
- Assist in determining correct product classifications as controlled by EAR
- Electronic Export Information (EEI) filling through AES
- Preparation of export documentation according to final shipping destination requirements including creating AWB’s through Process Weaver, preparation of Certificates of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, SLI's etc.
- Interact with freight forwarding / logistics partners to obtain competitive quotes and assure on time delivery
- Process customer account corrections, returns, credits and debits as required
- Daily review of backorders and allocation of product as it becomes available
- Update and distribute daily alloy price quotations by e-mail to IV Subsidiaries and International Customer
- Assist in customer requests / technical questions by routing to appropriate departments to allow for timely customer response including customer complaints
- Assist in maintaining the USMCA (Unites States – Mexico – Canada Agreement)
- Prepare weekly van to IV Canada including on time submission of the documents to customs broker to assure preclearance
- Maintain International file system and database by scanning customer profiles / customer communication, relating shipping documents directly to customer accounts or in designated files on the network
- Knowledge and understanding of exporting concepts, international trade & regulations, tariff determination.
- Demonstrate global awareness while adhering to established Export Compliance Program and Country Specific Regulatory Requirements
- Language skill a plus
- Strong, independent communicator skilled in use of all Mircosoft Office Applications
- Understand & effectively prioritize daily workload, have excellent negotiation skills, can be resourceful with sense of urgency to resolve issues in a timely matter.
- Previous ERP SAP experience helpful
- Notary preferred or willingness to obtain certification
