Description
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office to help manage recruitment, benefits administration and record maintenance for the employees of Conversio Health. Under the direction of the Director of HR, they will prepare files and forms for new and separating employees, update employment status and help new employees get access to the resources they need to do their job. The HR Assistant will organize and update records, dispose of old records properly and contact employees to update their contact information and other key documents. The HR Assistant may also provide miscellaneous administrative support to other departments as needed.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our San Luis Obispo, California offices.

Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receives and distributes Human Resources related mail.
- Schedules and organizes appointments; takes minutes during departmental meetings.
- Proofreads and prepares documents and correspondence produced by department.
- Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, terminations, and other related employment matters.
- Maintains the employee files including organization, filing, auditing, and destruction when appropriate.
- Assists with recruiting efforts including screening and managing candidates.
- Assists with COBRA and HSA administration.
- Perform data entry.
- Assist with ensuring employees are in compliance with background checks.
- May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
- May provide general administrative support to other departments as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type 45 words a minute.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Administrative training preferred.
- Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.
