The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Commercial Pricing Analytics department has an opening in our corporate headquarters located in Fairfield, OH, for an Actuary I Large Commercial Account Pricing.
Salary: The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be Ready To
- review large commercial account pricing proposals; communicate recommendations to underwriters; collaborate with underwriters during pricing process
- perform loss sensitive pricing and collateral evaluation
- maintain and enhance pricing tools
- research and implement pricing improvements including construction of multi-variate pricing models
- enhance business unit reporting; distill and communicate key findings
- build tools to enhance business unit productivity
- perform ad hoc analyses
- robust SQL experience; strong SAS experience is a plus
- proficient in Excel VBA
- basic Python a plus; specifically, pandas/NumPy, Excel/file system manipulation, generalized linear models, experience with penalized regression models is a plus
- candidate will work closely with underwriters and should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
- four or more years of P&C actuarial experience
- three or more years commercial pricing experience; large commercial experience preferred
- individuals with ACAS/FCAS designations are preferred
