Job Summary

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will help strengthen the relationship with every team member by providing empathetic and insightful support, processing HR transactions, assisting in the onboarding process, and other HR areas as needed. This position will work Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5:00PM with occasional night and weekend shifts. This role will be hired on for an interim period of 4-6 months. This position's starting wage is $18.00.

Essential Functions

  • Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
  • Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
  • Assist in establishing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
  • Enhance the new hire experience by creating a fun, high-energy environment
  • Develop and maintain a welcoming, safe, professional, and friendly work environment
  • Assist with onboarding and entering team member data into the company database
  • Coordinating meetings and taking minutes
  • Answering team member inquiries
  • Monitor, and track payroll action items and compliance training
  • Assist with Illinois Gaming Board team member licensing and compliance
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite and be able to learn other software programs easily
  • Ability to learn and retain information
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, sit, and stand
  • Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach
  • Occasionally required to stoop
  • Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds

Environmental Working Conditions

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
