The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for formulating effective people strategies to support leaders and employees in achieving business goals. This position will serve as a consultant to leadership on people related matters and enhanced people leadership practices to promote a high performing, engaged team and environment.

This position will require a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to help drive performance, engagement, and organizational growth. It will be fast paced requiring a sense of urgency while maintaining a focus on providing high-level service. This role will require adaptability and an ability to work through ambiguity in situations where opinions and viewpoints differ.

Requirements:

Your responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to align HR strategies to business objectives.
  • Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, and succession planning including projecting staffing, training and development needs, etc.
  • Provide guidance to managers and leadership, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Support the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through development, retention, and offboarding.
  • Create talent acquisition strategies and execute them to fill open roles with hiring managers including tactical responsibilities of posting jobs, screening candidates, referring applicants, and making job offers.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop and implement people solutions including but not limited to retention, engagement, and performance.
  • Collaborate with HR Generalist to ensure integrated HR delivery.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations, as needed. Partners with leaders through the corrective action or performance improvement process. Coach leaders on delivering constructive feedback and having difficult conversations.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and best practices.
  • Acts as a consultant regarding training and development programs; arranges or conducts programs
  • Develop, propose and administer compensation programs including job analysis, job descriptions, job evaluation and market research to ensure a competitive and equitable compensation program.
  • Drive global employee development/performance process to ensure requirements are completed timely; discuss performance with leadership team as a means of identifying future growth potential and supporting the corporate succession planning process.
  • Maintains accurate records using HRIS and collaborating with members of the HR team.



Your competencies and other qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in human resources with at least 2 years with an emphasis in employee relations.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or other HR related certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of human resource management laws, processes and principles.
  • Ability to engage in problem-solving and problem-resolution activities despite emotional and confrontational situations.
  • Ability to evaluate employee situations, interpret regulations and policies and make recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Ability to work with and provide exceptional service to all employees.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws at federal and state levels.
