The Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School Community is recruiting a transformative team of educators. Wintergreen was named a School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America. ACES Wintergreen Magnet School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Athletic Coordinator. The ideal candidate should be versed in the rules and procedures of organizing youth athletics, familiar with middle school age students, and able to connect with both students and families. In addition, this individual should be comfortable attending all athletic events (home and away) throughout the year. They should know how to coordinate with other districts and schools, arrange transportation to and from events and have the ability to schedule sporting events throughout the academic year for a variety of athletic teams.
The coordinator position will require coordinating and leading all athletic events in collaboration with area districts and towns. A passion for sharing the love of the athletics, strong organizational skills required, and the knowledge of the rules of a variety of sports is a must. Strong management skills of spectators, coaches, and an advocate for youth is necessary.
