Performance Toyota Fairfield seeks a skilled Used Car Technician who can provide top-notch repairs and maintenance across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. We demand volume-minded, dedicated professionals with the stamina to excel in our fast-paced environment.

  • $22.00 to $35.00 Per Flat Rate Hour (experience-based)
  • Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus (experience determined by hiring manager)
  • 40 Hours Per Week / Four 10 Hour Days - Off Three

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Thorough Inspection: Assess used cars for mechanical, electrical, and bodywork issues
  • Diagnostic Testing: Utilize advanced tools to identify problems and necessary repairs
  • Repair and Maintenance: Execute engine work, transmission servicing, and brake repairs to meet safety standards
  • Routine Servicing: Conduct regular maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations to enhance performance
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and services
  • Collaboration: Work with team members to solve complex issues and improve shop efficiency
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on automotive technologies and repair techniques

Qualifications

  • ASE certifications preferred but not required
  • Two or more years of automotive repair experience preferred
  • Diploma from an accredited automotive technology school is a plus but nor required
  • Possess a driving record allowing you to be insured to drive customer and company vehicles
