Security Analyst, I

The IS Analyst I, Security is responsible for assisting with the administration of security measures to protect the Bank’s computer networks and systems.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors, detects, and reports on vulnerabilities within the network and coordinates remediation efforts.
• Installs and tests security measures and operates software to protect systems and information infrastructure.
• Investigates security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents; documents security breaches and assesses resultant damage.
• Maintains knowledge of information technology trends and evolving security standards.
• Conducts regular reviews of systems to ensure compliance with access reviews, security control reviews, and security alerting rules reviews.
• Responds to security alerts at all times, including after hours.
• Participates in governance, risk, and compliance-related duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1-2 years experience in an information technology role, required.
• Security+, preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate information security risk in a concise manner.
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks, without requiring direct assignment or close supervision.
• Basic understanding of information security best practices in regards to computer networks and internet communications.
