Experienced Tutors Needed!

Sylvan Learning of Chapel Hill is looking for Tutors! We have multiple roles to fill:

Requirements:

  • Has experience teaching basic reading, writing, and or math.
  • Has completed at least two years of college in Education or a related field.
  • Is reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • is available in person 1-2 evenings per week and Saturday morning


Preferred:

  • is a certified teacher or a candidate enrolled in an education program
  • is experienced with or willing to learn other programs such as Study Skills, SAT or ACT


Details:

  • No planning or grading required. Materials and lessons are provided.
  • 3:1 Student-teacher ratio; In-person learning
  • Paid training is provided.
