Key Tasks

  • Overseeing the development of the Site Implementation Management Plan (SIMP);
  • Co-chairing working groups, conferences, and technical interchange meetings relevant to system implementation;
  • Developing implementation processes and workflows;
  • Developing and monitoring the execution of implementation schedules;
  • Reviewing implementation-related deliverables (e.g., Site Survey Reports, Site Installation Plans, etc.) to ensure they meet contractual requirements;
  • Assigning task responsibilities to Contractor personnel supporting implementation activities;
  • Ensuring that the Contractor meets system delivery and implementation commitments;
  • Leading the Implementation portion of the Contractor’s quarterly program reviews;
  • Identifying, assessing, and minimizing implementation risks.

Key Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Bachelors’ degree.
  • Experience in installing, integrating and maintaining end user telecommunications equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate progress/problems to appropriate personnel effectively.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical management and staff as well as customer management and staff.
  • Understanding of schematic and engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of government installation and acceptance processes and requirements.
  • Knowledge of basic PC hardware and software.
  • Special Notations or Conditions of Employment:
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of time to customer sites for on-site surveys, installations, and customer meetings.
