Essential Functions
- Support in managing project timelines, vendor relationships, budgeting and tracking of event expenses, and stakeholder communication
- Provide research-backed recommendations to enhance conference content and engagement
- Assist in executing logistical and operational aspects of the event
- Contribute to leadership learning materials and facilitation support
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must have basic project management knowledge
- Basic knowledge of learning and development principles
- Research and data analysis capabilities
- Event planning and logistics coordination experience
- Ability to commit to a full-time work schedule (40 hours per week)
- Pursuing degree in Human Resource Management, Instructional Design, Education, or related fields at an accredited College or University
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior with a 3.0 or higher-grade point average
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
