JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist assures adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, federal regulations and enforcing company policies and practices. Responsible for recruiting, hiring and onboarding of new employees to staff a highly engaged workforce. Will leverage analytics to drive impactful HR initiatives. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality and is dedicated to the positive development of Rimrock’s culture by upholding and applying our Core Values on a day-to-day basis. Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or 4 years progressive Human Resources experience in lieu of education. Must have a minimum of 2 years Human Resource experience. SHRM certification preferred.

Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft software including word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical Demands
Work is indoors in an office environment with moderate noise. Intermittent physical effort involving lifting of up to 25 pounds, walking and stooping is required. A typical workday involves sitting, frequent use of a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, and talking and hearing, approximately 70% of the time. Approximately 30% or less of the time is spent standing. Normal vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB LOCATIONS:
Involves everyday risk or discomfort requiring normal safety precautions in an office setting, meeting room and patient care areas. Work may involve mental and emotional stress. Some driving required. Will work primarily in main facility.

HR Generalist Duties
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, CARF and local employment laws and regulations
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management
- Respond to HR related inquiries
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies
- Manage and facilitate recruitment, will evaluate and screen potential candidates, will schedule interviews and communicate accordingly with department managers
- Will monitor the employee onboarding experience and will be responsible for facilitating new hire orientation to Rimrock’s personnel policies, procedures, handbook, benefits and computer programs
- Serves as the primary contact for benefits administration, will include new hire and annual benefit enrollment periods. Will process changes and communicate with benefit vendors.
- Verify professional license standing with licensing boards for staff annually
- Run OIG’s annually
- Collaborates with department leaders for all new and existing employee needs
- Implement, maintain and troubleshoot issues with HRIS system and data
- Maintain and file documentation in personnel files to ensure compliance with all federal, state and CARF requirements.
- Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit HR data and address irregularities
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards and metrics.
- Collect, present and communicate data to managers
- Advise supervisors when employee performance evaluations are due, review completed evaluations and assist with processing salary increases
- Participates in relevant company events and assist with promotion of employee engagement.
- Assists with departmental special projects.
- Will perform recruitment duties; candidate selection, interview and screening, communication with managers, and hiring of qualified candidates.
- Collaborates with HR Director to establish recruiting strategies in order to meet the organizations staffing objectives
- Build an applicant pipeline by networking with community services, colleges, employment agencies, other recruiters, media, and internet sites
- Will create and post open positions to Rimrock’s career portal and other various job sites
- Will conduct presentation and orientation to student interns to ensure they are aware of Rimrock’s policies, procedures, and expectations
- Maintain understanding of current legislation as it relates to hiring, will educate and share information with managers
