The Entry-Level HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Help coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files
- Manage and track employee credentials, licenses, and certifications to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support compliance with state and federal employment laws and healthcare industry standards
- Respond to employee inquiries and assist with HR-related questions
- Assist in planning employee engagement activities and recognition programs
- Support HR team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Interest in or experience with healthcare or caregiving environments a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
