Key Responsibilities:

Remain engaged with Project Managers, Timekeepers, Salespersons, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and prompt billing
Understand projects / jobs based on the contract as well as client and BrandSafway requirements
Validate billing by reviewing all necessary documentation
Balance hours worked to hours billed
Ensure our stewardship of the client through relationships and communication
Active problem solving and troubleshooting leadership
Perform weekly job cost reviews and monthly financial closing to ensure discrepancy resolution, finalized billing and accurate accrual bookings
Understand present as well as changing state and local tax and deduction laws that apply to relevant billing
Prepare for audits through note-taking and proper filing
Strong knowledge and understanding of customer ERP systems (e.g., Track, Ariba, etc.)
Understand customer contracts and monitor the job cost system
Ability to analyze jobs and troubleshoot margin issues
Document and file according to BrandSafway standards
Maintain necessary reports and forms
Qualifications:

Ability to create excellent working relationships with teams & customer
Ability to effectively work within a matrix organization
Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and confidence
Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.High school degree required
Previous industrial billing experience is desired, but not required
Previous accounting experience in accounts receivable or payable, payroll, or other similar functions may be desired, but not required
To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to utilize the following skills
Mathematics
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook & Word); complex spreadsheet management is important
Active listening & problem solving
Reading comprehension, communication in both written and verbal form
Contract understanding
Critical thinking & organization
BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $25 - $35 hourly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
