KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The New Pacific Airlines Maintenance Planner is responsible for the short- and long-range planning of aircraft maintenance for New Pacific Airlines and Ravn Alaska. The Maintenance Planner ensures required maintenance tasks are properly forecasted, scheduled, and resourced in compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies
The Maintenance Planner also supports coordination between internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely maintenance execution, reduce delays, and maintain fleet readiness. Other responsibilities aligned with New Pacific’s Core Values include but are not limited to:
  • Upholding safety by ensuring all scheduled maintenance complies with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
  • Demonstrating commitment through proactive review and scheduling of upcoming maintenance, submitting requisitions for major components, and organizing workload to support operational goals.
  • Acting with integrity when reviewing and verifying daily paperwork, coordinating with MCC during inspections, and covering Maintenance Control responsibilities as needed.
  • Embodying the spirit of connectedness by communicating with Commercial and Marketing departments, external partners like Embark, and internal leadership to align maintenance plans with operational demands.
  • Showing reliability through consistent review of software-generated forecasts, informing MCC of line and 'A' check inspections, and supporting a seamless workflow across shifts.
  • Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with fellow team members, contractors, supervisors, and operational staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


The successful candidate will have previous aircraft maintenance and maintenance planning experience, strong organizational skills, and be capable of directing labor and materials to support an effective maintenance schedule. Other qualifications include:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Must meet the qualifications outlined in CFR 65.21, 65.83, and 65.89 and as described in the New Pacific Airlines GMM, Section 51.2.3.4.
  • Must be experienced in reviewing maintenance forecast reports, planning for parts and manpower, and submitting requisitions for major components.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly across departments and participate in daily planning and coordination meetings.
  • Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
