Position Summary:
Overall, the Part-time Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Center's mission by contributing to educational resources, facilitating communication with stakeholders, and assisting in the implementation of technology-driven projects. The position will require extensive field work and light physical duty.
Essential Functions:
- Updating the NJ Clean Energy Learning Center: This involves maintaining and improving the content of the learning center, ensuring that it remains relevant, accurate, and informative for users.
- E-enhancing distance learning content: The assistant will work on enhancing the digital learning materials, making them more interactive, engaging, and accessible for remote learners.
- Organizing stakeholder meetings: This responsibility involves coordinating and facilitating meetings with various stakeholders involved in the Center's projects, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration among all parties.
- Providing assistance on facility assessment projects.
- Supports other projects as needed.
- Works independently under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and together with the team of collaborators in accomplishing the project goals.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- B.S in Architecture or Digital Design and previous research experience are required.
- Strong programming skills and experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
