ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and publish a routine maintenance weekly schedule, timely and effectively.
  • Develop and publish maintenance projects schedule(s), timely and effectively.
  • Develop and publish outage weekly schedule, timely and effectively.
  • Facilitate scheduling update meetings for routine maintenance projects and outage work effectively.
  • Identify, correspond and schedule contractors as needed to execute maintenance work safe and efficiently.
  • Serve as contractor host and equipment for Facilities contractors. To include permitting, field auditing or work and managing discovery/change orders as necessary.
  • Serve as focal point for site schedule breaks during normal work hours.
  • Serve as a focal point for site SIPA resident contractor.
  • Identify and resolve any problems that could delay maintenance activities.
  • Order and manage the inventory or parts and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports. Utilize SAP to record, track and analyze maintenance work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Reviewing and understanding equipment and machinery manuals to determine the standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to schedule and maintenance activities.
  • Estimating the time and resources needed for each maintenance job planned.
  • Tracking the inventory of spare parts and ensuring their availability for routine and emergency maintenance.
  • Inspect the workplace for potential safety hazards and implementing safety protocols.
  • Working with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary tools, equipment, and parts
  • Track and communicate status.
  • Training maintenance staff in new procedures and protocols as needed.
  • Managing cost and logistics from requisition to purchase order closure for all active routine maintenance, maintenance projects and outage work.

Other Responsibilities

  • Investigates and resolves problems. Troubleshoots Planning and Scheduling process issues.
  • Point of Contract for resolution of cost issues working with Procurement and Accounts Payable.
  • Implements maintenance workflow protocol best practices for planning and scheduling process.
  • Coach and provide feedback to achieve performance improvement in planning and scheduling processes and workflows.
