The Branch Operations Specialist offers essential operational support to branch offices, aiming to enhance efficiency and improve the customer experience. The Branch Operations Specialist focuses on resolving operational issues, reducing risks, and delivering ongoing training. Frequent travel to branch locations is required for Branch Operations Specialists.

Key Responsibilities Of The Branch Operations Specialist
- Process Improvement: Develops and implements new processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure accurate, timely workflows.
- Training & Coaching: Coaches and trains branch personnel on procedures, compliance, audits, systems, internal controls, and risk mitigation to promote operational excellence.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partners with other bank departments to ensure branch operations adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Identifies and assists in resolving operational issues.
- Branch Support: Provides tier-one support to branch offices on bank policy, procedure, core systems, and compliance matters.
- Error Analysis & Training: Reviews error and exception reports to identify areas needing additional branch training.
- Branch Development: Conducts documented branch visits, meetings, and conference calls to motivate and develop staff.
Branch Operations Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or applicable job knowledge, three years of experience as a CSR in a banking environment.
- Must possess extensive knowledge of operational functions performed in a branch such as personal and business account opening, auditing internal controls and safe deposit box functions.
- Must have experience reviewing and interpreting legal documents including but not limited to POA, Trust and Estate documents.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to identify issues and see them through to remediation.
- Must embrace the core values of innovation and creativity in order to drive changes that positively affect operational efficiencies.
- Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively and must have exceptional customer relation skills.
- Must possess the ability to compose professionally written materials including procedures, reference materials, memorandums, and a variety of reports.
- Must be proficient in general math skills, letter composition and in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
