Shift: PRN (As Needed)

Pay Rate: $35-$37 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Vista Manor is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team on a PRN basis. If you are passionate about helping others regain their independence and improve their quality of life, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and Planning: Work closely with the Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Independence Promotion: Assist residents with activities of daily living to help them build and maintain independence.
• Support Provision: Observe and support residents during therapy sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Rehabilitation Facilitation: Help residents recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries through targeted therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Confidentiality Safeguarding: Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident information and records.
• Teamwork Promotion: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent, coordinated care.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Florida State COTA License: Must have a current, valid Florida COTA license.
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is a plus.
