Applies fundamental knowledge of principles, theories, concepts and industry practices and standards in the area of Master Data maintenance including managing of policies and procedures, research and policy change implementation to ensure compliance to regulations and laws that apply to Aerospace and Defense.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
  • Solves problems of limited scope and complexity relative to developing comprehensive Master Data procedures and guidelines and processing of SAP Master Data requests that apply to aerospace and defense. Management applies close to moderately close supervision and review of work performed.
  • Assist with executing short and long-term policy priorities; build support for multi-department policy change by working directly with management and affected departments.
  • Assists in providing technical support on policy issues to government officials and partners to advance policy goals.
  • Consolidates, reviews and processes all requests for Master creations, changes and deletions; requests are subject to response in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Maintains tracking and communicates this information to management via aging reports and prioritization of quick-turn items.
  • Reviews all requests and ensures that data is accurate in the system.
  • Maintains and updates all Master Data documentation and ensures that it is available to all the necessary groups via the intranet and hard copy; communicates all changes in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes information and troubleshoots problem areas with the appropriate departments and perform corrective actions as necessary.
  • Periodically reviews the rules and accuracy of the Master Data with all affected user groups within the company.
  • Works with peers to ensure that all understand the master data guidelines and procedures to ensure that the data is accurate, and fields are populated correctly; maintain and develop relationships with other departments and management to manage a uniform policy and procedure process.
  • Provide written and oral documentation, as needed.

Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment
Minimum Qualifications Education Requirements


Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree. Supply Chain Management or other related discipline.

If applicable, a combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement

Experience Requirements

0-2 year(s) Related experience and/or training.

Skills and Competencies

  • Must be able to arrive at work on time, work onsite, and attend regularly.
  • Must be able to read and write the English language, perform basic mathematical calculations and learn to interpret and comprehend company policies, procedures, safety instructions, and other like documents used in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Competent in the use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel and operate standard office equipment.
  • Makes telephone and direct personal contact with internal and external personnel and makes formal presentations to small or large groups.
  • Ability to conduct policy research
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.

Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Additionally, those who work at NORDAM Repair Division must be able to ascend and descend stairs.
