About The Role

We’re hiring an Industrial Products Sales Representative to join our growing Engineered Solutions team. This role supports the sales of warehouse systems—dock and door, conveyors, overhead cranes, racking, and safety equipment—by developing strategic customer relationships and tailoring solutions that increase operational efficiency. This field-based position supports our branches in Virginia (Chilhowie and Roanoke) and West Virginia (St. Albans and Clarksburg).

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and construction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations on engineered warehouse equipment solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to propose customized solutions
  • Create accurate quotes and sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals
  • Understand AGV technology and how it integrates with WMS systems
  • Stay up to date on market trends and competitor offerings
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent Burwell
  • Maintain CRM documentation on leads, activities, and pipeline
  • Provide top-notch customer service throughout the sales cycle

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Sales experience in industrial equipment or related field
  • Familiarity with dock and door equipment, conveyors, cranes, racking, and AGV technologies
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend events
