Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Associate Director - Anaplan Solution Architect to join the US Gross-to-Net (G2N) Finance team. The focus of this role will be designing, developing, and scaling Anaplan solutions that drive critical G2N modeling (accounting and forecast) and financial accounting processes.

  • Solution Design & Architecture: Responsible for utilizing technical knowledge for software implementations including activities around field-to-field data mapping, conversion validation, system and security configuration, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

  • Customer Collaboration: Translate business requirements into technical design documents. Work closely with G2N Finance team members to deliver beneficial modeling/planning solutions.

  • Model Development: Build and enhance Anaplan models with optimized architecture, efficient formulas, and dynamic dashboards using best practices.

  • Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineering and system integration teams to design and manage data flows between Anaplan and source systems (ERP, CRM, HCM).

  • Innovation & Strategy: Stay up to date with the Anaplan roadmap and emerging capabilities. Evaluate new use cases and champion innovation through connected planning.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, with 2+ years specifically in Anaplan modeling and architecture.

  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of model building, application lifecycle management (ALM), workspace management, and performance tuning.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable design.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills

  • Anaplan Master Anaplanner certification

  • Certified Anaplan Solution Architect (or nearing completion)

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end Anaplan implementations

  • Experience integrating Anaplan with systems like SAP, MS Fabric, Model N, or iCyte is a plus

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies

  • Prior experience with leading ETL tools (e.g. Informatica)

  • Experience building a Center of Excellence or governance framework

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$122,250 - $179,300

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
