Job Overview

This role is critical in ensuring the efficient delivery of services, the optimization of resources, and the achievement of customer satisfaction. Reporting to the locations General Manager, the Operations Manager will drive excellence across HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical service delivery, workforce management, and operational performance to achieve company goals.

What Will I Do?

Operations Management

• Lead and manage HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical managers and technicians, along with additional team members as required.
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling for maintenance, repairs, and installations to ensure operational efficiency.
• Drive project execution to meet deadlines and remain within budget parameters.
  
  
  

System Oversight

• Monitor and assess the performance of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems to ensure optimal efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
• Plan and implement system upgrades or replacements to support operational goals.
  
  
  

Client and Vendor Relations

• Cultivate strong client relationships and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all vendor negotiations and manage equipment and supply contracts effectively.
  
  
  

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure full compliance with all safety protocols and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and deliver ongoing safety training to team members.
  
  
  

Financial Management

• Develop, manage, and report on departmental budgets.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.
  
  
  

Team Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, and assess team performance regularly.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  
  
  

Do I Have What it Takes?

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations within the HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services industry or other residential home service industry
• Proven track record of managing multi-location service operations and achieving financial and operational goals.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a results-driven approach.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software, technologies, and best practices.
• Expertise in operational metrics, budget management, and process optimization.
