Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Lead and manage residential (remodeling, landscaping, additions) and commercial (manufacturing plant renovations, maintenance) projects from initiation through completion.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a small team of field employees; provide guidance, task assignment, and performance oversight.
- Contractor Management: Identify, vet, and coordinate subcontractors as needed for various project phases.
- Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication, updates, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure resource availability.
- Budget Management: Track project costs, ensure budget adherence, and report on variances.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Foreman in construction or facility services (residential and/or commercial).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Ability to travel extensively (75%+)
- Proficient with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate company-provided vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Experience working in both residential and commercial construction environments.
- Strong network of subcontractors and vendors.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
