The Civil LES is a very specialized assignment, tasked with understanding
the complexities of Colorado Civil Process. Interacts with members of the
public, via in person, phone, and through email, ascertaining required
information to assist in successful civil process service. Demonstrates a
high level of customer service, answering civil process questions and/or
directing customers to appropriate resources. Maintains a work ethic to ensure
accuracy, timeliness, and organization. Has a basic understanding of
accounting principles. Ability to utilize common computer systems and
willingness to learn new operating systems.

experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required for

CBI/CCIC/NCIC Certification (must be obtained after hire)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires standing, stooping, sitting, bending and
twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
The employee may come into contact with members of the general public who are
upset or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Job Duties
- Provide customer service to the public and receive all civil papers.

- Tabulate appropriate cost and fees per service. Maintain all accounts
- Generate a return of service for served processes and forward the
- Meet with citizens at the Civil Counter and answers any question
papers that need to be served.
- Schedule all evictions using Civil Unit Google Calendar.
- Answers all calls coming directly into the Civil Unit or that have

- Process all civil billing for the District Attorney s Office and

- Must work with experienced Civil-Law Enforcement Specialists to gain
