Green Meadows Home Health is looking for a Pediatric RN and LVN to join our team!

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to children, a strong commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care, while also contributing to our mission of providing a warm and welcoming environment for families.

Pediatric Nurse Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide nursing care to pediatric patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine treatments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assess and respond to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of patients and their families
  • Document patient care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention, and provide guidance and support to families as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, and follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of disease


Pediatric Nurse Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing or a pediatric healthcare setting.
  • Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  • Familiarity with pediatric-specific medical equipment.
  • Knowledge of child development and pediatric illnesses.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Valid nursing license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, with the ability to identify and address potential hazards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care
