In accordance with California law, the expected hourly rate for this position in California is $19.57.

Under the direction of the Shift Manager, a Production employee may be assigned to fill the role in any unit within the plant. This assignment may involve working on a rotating shift to replace workers as needed, and employees are expected to perform related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Production duties include— but are not limited to— housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, pushing hoppers, painting, and operating plant vehicles like forklifts or dump trucks.

This position is subject to participation in the plant's Safety, Health, and Environmental protection programs.

**Physical Requirements, Safety, and Work Environment:**
  • Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must be capable of safely operating a forklift.
  • Must adhere to all PPE requirements, including wearing hard hats, specific-style boots that comply with Vitro's guidelines, and N95 respirators (both full and half face) with a proper seal according to OSHA standards.
  • Must work efficiently and be willing to work overtime.
  • A basic understanding of math, reading, and writing skills is required.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
**Physical Demands:**
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand use may be required, including simple grasping and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • This position also requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, reach above shoulders, bend, and twist.

assigned to fill the bottom (job) in any unit within the plant. Assignment may be
to work on a rotating shift for any unit in need of a replacement worker and is
expected to perform related duties assigned by supervisor.

forklift or dump truck.

Position is subject to participation in the plant's Safety, Health and Environmental

  • Must be able to work rotating shift schedule, holidays and weekends.
  • Must be able to safely operate a fork truck
  • Must follow all PPE requirements. Wear hard hats, specific-style boots in compliance with Vitro requirements, and respirator N95 (full and half face) with a face-to-respirator seal according to OSHA requirements.
  • Able to work fast and efficient and willing to work overtime
    Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
    Ability to effectively communicate
Physical Demands:
