Job Summary

Our Integrated Design Services Group is hiring a full-time Aquatics Engineer with a background in aquatics, water infrastructure, mechanical, or civil engineering. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and driven to take ownership of their work. We’re looking for someone with project management and construction administration experience who is passionate about engineering and water recreation projects. Project work includes waterparks, aquatic centers, splashpads, fountains, park planning, hospitality, and recreational facilities that positively impact local and regional communities.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Provide technical knowledge and support for developing design plans and documents, including but not limited to engineering analysis, standards, calculations, technical reports, cost analysis and written specifications for a variety of aquatic recreational projects
  • Coordinate and communicate with a variety of internal staff and regional regulatory agencies for project needs including presenting reports, studies, review and determine critical elements of aquatic safety and design standards
  • Ability to work independently on project deliverables and collaborate with internal aquatic staff at appropriate design process milestones
  • Experience with hydraulic analysis, pump sizing, chemical feed systems, water filtration, and coordinating with structural, electrical, and architectural disciplines for aquatic project needs
  • Ability and willingness to travel for observational site visits as needed for project success

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field
  • Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain licensure within at least one of the following states: Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois and/or Wisconsin
  • Preferred 8+ years experience working in aquatics; CPO/AFO/CPT certifications a plus
