Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain data dictionaries, data catalogs, and documentation of data sources
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy
- Support data acquisition and integration necessary to execute analytics projects
- Work with cross-functional teams to support data-related projects
- Keep track of incoming ad-hoc requests ensuring none are overlooked and all are addressed in a timely manner
- Perform data analysis to identify insights that can be incorporated into strategic recommendations for improving member healthcare experience
- Develop dashboards, custom reports or other visuals to support identified insights and any monitoring of trends
- Clearly communicate analytical findings and make recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Bring disparate data together with knowledge of healthcare and government policy to develop and communicate sound business recommendations to leaders throughout the organization
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with SAS, R, Python, SQL, or other preferred programming language
- 3+ years of experience manipulating data across multiple platforms
- Experience with Medicare Advantage products or the healthcare industry, especially working with survey and quality outcomes data
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools such as Snowflake
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices
