DevOps Engineer

Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments. The ideal candidate has specialty in ensuring application deployment, automated continuous integration testing, and ensuring visibility of performance and key metrics to inform developers’ decision making.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with AWS, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI), containerization (Docker), and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Bachelors in computer science or equivalent work experience
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  
  

Desired Experience and Qualifications, must meet some of the below:

• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative development and managing codebase changes.
• Terraform: Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• CI/CD Pipelines: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Jenkins.
• Scripting & Automation – Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell.
• Linux & System Administration – File systems, process management, performance tuning.
• AWS Services: Familiarity with core AWS services such as:
  
  

AWS Lambda for serverless functions

AWS S3 for storage

AWS API Gateway for creating RESTful APIs

AWS DynamoDB for NoSQL database

AWS EC2 for virtual servers

AWS RDS for managed relational databases

AWS CloudFront for content delivery

AWS CloudWatch for Application Monitoring

• Database Management – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
  
  

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
