As an Assembler, you will assemble and install components according to blueprints while ensuring all quality and safety standards are met. You will use manual and powered tools to complete the assembly process efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and Install – Follow blueprints, technical specifications, and assembly requirements while safely using manual and powered hand tools to install components accurately.
- Perform Process Inspections/Checklists – Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled components meet fit, form, function, and compliance standards.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment – Keep work areas organized, dry, and free of debris to minimize hazards and maintain safety.
- Follow Lean 5S Practices – Implement sorting, organization, cleanliness, standardization, and sustainability practices to improve efficiency and maintain a productive workspace.
- Maintain Good Attendance – Follow assigned work schedules and communicate any planned or unplanned absences with the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry experience preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble components accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.
- Experience operating hand jacks, pallet trucks, cranes, jib cranes, and hoists is a plus.
- Ability to remain in a standing position for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools.
- Adhere to attendance requirements as set by the department supervisor.
- Work conditions vary between office and production floor environments.
- Overtime as required and/or needed to meet production demands.
