Administrator for School Health Services

To assist with and support administration with TEA Nursing Grant to expand services
to regional LEAs. This position will coordinate comprehensive school health services
and provide technical assistance and training to educators and school nurses in the
effort to meet the health services and health education needs of children in a
school setting; and to provide technical assistance and support to regional LEAs in
the provision of health services including the recruitment of health professionals as
needed.

Education Qualifications
1. Valid Texas Registered Nurse License and in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing required
2. Master ́s degree preferred
3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required

Salary: From 85699.00 Salary: To 125909.00 Salary Type Annually Additional Job Information Experience
1. Strong background, knowledge of legal medical/health issues
2. Experience providing health services as a licensed nurse
3. Experience working with local education agencies (LEAs); local, state, and federal health agencies; and medical agencies/organizations (preferred)
4. Experience with designing, developing and implementing health programs (preferred)
